Height Control Sensor: Removal

HINT:

  1. DISCONNECT CABLE FROM NEGATIVE BATTERY TERMINAL 
    CAUTION: Wait at least 90 seconds after disconnecting the cable from the negative (-) battery terminal to prevent airbag and seat belt pretensioner activation.
  2. REMOVE HEIGHT CONTROL SENSOR SUBASSEMBLY FRONT 
    1. Remove the front tire.
    2. Disconnect the connector.
    3. 2WD:

      Remove the nut and sensor link from the lower arm.

    4. 4WD:

      Remove the bolt and sensor link from the lower arm.

    5. Remove the 2 bolts and sensor.
  3. REMOVE HEIGHT CONTROL SENSOR SUBASSEMBLY REAR 
    1. Remove the rear tire.
    2. Disconnect the connector.

    3. Put matchmarks on the sensor link and bracket.

    4. Remove the 2 bolts and sensor.
