Inspection Procedure

- CHECK ILLUMINATION
- Check if the illumination for the multi-display, radio receiver, glove box, or other (hazard switch, cigarette lighter etc.) comes on when the light control switch is turned to the HEAD or TAIL position.
Result
ILLUMINATIONResult Proceed to Illumination comes on for all components except multi-display. A No illumination comes on. B B: GO TO LIGHTING SYSTEM
A: Go to Next Step
- Check if the illumination for the multi-display, radio receiver, glove box, or other (hazard switch, cigarette lighter etc.) comes on when the light control switch is turned to the HEAD or TAIL position.
- CHECK HARNESS AND CONNECTOR (MULTI-DISPLAY - BATTERY)
- Disconnect the M21 display connector.
- Measure the voltage according to the value(s) in the table below.
Standard voltage

NG: REPAIR OR REPLACE HARNESS OR CONNECTOR
OK: Go to Next Step
- CHECK HARNESS AND CONNECTOR (RHEOSTAT - MULTI-DISPLAY AND BODY GROUND)
- Disconnect the R12 rheostat connector.
- Disconnect the M21 display connector.
- Measure the resistance according to the value(s) in the table below.
Standard resistance
