Navigation Ecu: Installation

HINT:

A bolt without a torque specification is shown in the standard bolt chart. (See SPECIFIED TORQUE FOR STANDARD BOLTS )

  1. INSTALL NO. 2 DISC PLAYER BRACKET 
    1. Install the bracket's aligning protrusions labeled A to the ECU.
    2. Install the 2 screws labeled B.

  2. INSTALL NO. 1 DISC PLAYER BRACKET 
    1. Install the bracket's aligning protrusions labeled A to the ECU.
    2. Install the 2 screws labeled B.

  3. INSTALL NAVIGATION ECU WITH DISC PLAYER BRACKET 
    1. Install the navigation ECU with bracket with the 3 bolts.
    2. Connect the connectors.
  4. INSTALL GLOVE COMPARTMENT DOOR SUBASSEMBLY (See  INSTALLATION  ) 
  5. INSTALL FRONT PASSENGER SIDE KNEE AIRBAG ASSEMBLY (See  INSTALLATION  ) 
  6. INSTALL NO. 2 INSTRUMENT PANEL UNDER COVER SUB-ASSEMBLY (See  INSTALLATION  ) 
  7. INSTALL INSTRUMENT SIDE PANEL RH (See  INSTALLATION  ) 
  8. INSTALL FRONT DOOR OPENING TRIM COVER RH (See  INSTALLATION  ) 
  9. INSTALL FRONT DOOR SCUFF PLATE RH (See  INSTALLATION  ) 
  10. INSTALL INSTRUMENT PANEL FINISH PANEL END RH (See  INSTALLATION  ) 
  11. INSTALL CONSOLE UPPER PANEL ASSEMBLY (See  INSTALLATION  ) 
  12. INSTALL FRONT CONSOLE UPPER PANEL GARNISH (See  INSTALLATION  )

  13. CONNECT CABLE TO NEGATIVE BATTERY TERMINAL 
  14. PERFORM INITIALIZATION 
    1. Perform initialization (See INITIALIZATION ).
      NOTE: Certain systems need to be initialized after disconnecting and reconnecting the cable from the negative (-) battery terminal.
  15. CHECK SRS WARNING LIGHT 
    1. Check SRS warning light (See PRECAUTION ).
