Distance Control ECU Communication Stop Mode: Wiring Diagram

  1. CHECK CAN BUS LINE FOR DISCONNECTION (DISTANCE CONTROL ECU SUB BUS LINE)
    1. Turn the engine switch off.
    2. Disconnect the distance control ECU (K13).
    3. Measure the resistance according to the value(s) in the table below.

      Standard resistance

      TESTER CONNECTION SPECIFIED VALUE CHART

      Tester Connection Condition Specified Value
      K13-8 (CANH) - K13-9 (CANL) Engine switch off 54 to 69 Ω

      NG : REPAIR OR REPLACE DISTANCE CONTROL ECU SUB BUS LINE OR CONNECTOR (CAN-H, CAN-L)

      OK : GO TO NEXT STEP

  2. CHECK WIRE HARNESS (B, GND, SGND)
    1. Measure the resistance according to the value(s) in the table below.

      Standard resistance

      TESTER CONNECTION SPECIFIED VALUE CHART

      Tester Connection Condition Specified Value
      K13-12 (SGND) - Body ground Always Below 1 Ω
      K13-10 (GND) - Body ground Always Below 1 Ω

    2. Measure the voltage according to the value(s) in the table below.

      Standard voltage

      TESTER CONNECTION SPECIFIED VALUE CHART

      Tester Connection Condition Specified Value
      K13-1 (B) - Body ground Engine switch on (IG) 10 to 14 V

      NG : REPLACE DISTANCE CONTROL ECU

      OK : GO TO NEXT STEP

      REPAIR OR REPLACE HARNESS OR CONNECTOR
