Terminals Of Ecu

  1. CHECK THEFT WARNING ECU ASSY

    1. Disconnect the T7 ECU connector.
    2. Measure the voltage and resistance of the wire harness side connector.

      Standard: 

      TERMINAL DESCRIPTION

      Symbols (Terminal No.) Wiring Color Terminal Description Condition Specified Condition
      IG (T7-24) - Body ground V-W - Body ground Ignition power supply Ignition switch ON 10 to 14 V
      +B (T7-1) - Body ground L-O - Body ground +B power supply Always 10 to 14 V
      +B2 (T7-21) - Body ground B-O - Body ground +B2 power supply Always 10 to 14 V
      GND (T7-20) - Body ground W-B - Body ground Ground Always Below 1 ohms

      If the result is not as specified, there may be a malfunction on the wire harness side.

    3. Reconnect the T7 ECU connector.
    4. Measure the voltage of the connector.

      Standard: 

      TERMINAL DESCRIPTION

      Symbols (Terminal No.) Wiring Color Terminal Description Condition Specified Condition
      IND (T7-3) - Body ground B - Body ground Security indicator Security indicator lights up (illuminates up only for 30 sec. in alarm sounding state It is flashing when immobilizer system is operating) 3 to 6 V
      SH- (T7-22) - Body ground G - Body ground Security horn Security horn is sounding (Theft deterrent system is in alarm sounding state) Pulse generation

      If the result is not as specified, the ECU may have a malfunction.

  2. CHECK DRIVER SIDE J/B (MULTIPLEX NETWORK BODY ECU)

    1. Disconnect the 2A and 2G J/B connectors.
    2. Disconnect the D2 and D4 ECU connectors.
    3. Measure the resistance and voltage of the wire harness side connectors.

      Standard: 

      TERMINAL DESCRIPTION

      Symbols (Terminal No.) Wiring Color Terminal Description Condition Specified Condition
      MPX-IG (2A-1) - Body ground W - Body ground Ignition (power supply) Ignition switch ON 10 to 14 V
      MPX-B (D4-5) - Body ground L-B - Body ground Battery (power supply) Always 10 to 14 V
      GND (2G-8) - Body ground W-B - Body ground Ground Always Below 1 ohms
      GND2 (D4-1) - Body ground W-B - Body ground Ground Always Below 1 ohms
      HDCY (D2-16) - Body ground R - Body ground Engine hood courtesy switch Engine hood Closed 10 k ohms or higher
      HDCY (D2-16) - Body ground R - Body ground Engine hood courtesy switch Engine hood Open Below 1 ohms

      If the result is not as specified, there may be a malfunction on the wire harness side.

    4. Reconnect the 2A and 2G J/B connectors.
    5. Reconnect the D2 and D4 ECU connectors.
    6. Measure the voltage of the connector.

      Standard: 

      TERMINAL DESCRIPTION

      TURN LH (2D-2) - Body ground G-B - Body ground Front turn signal lamp LH Front turn signal light LH is flashing (theft deterrent system is in alarm sounding state) Pulse generation
      TURN RH (2D-6) - Body ground G-Y - Body ground Front turn signal lamp RH Front turn signal light RH is flashing (theft deterrent system is in alarm sounding state) Pulse generation

      If the result is not as specified, the ECU may have a malfunction.

  3. CHECK LUGGAGE ROOM J/B ASSY (LUGGAGE ROOM J/B ECU)

    1. Disconnect the 6A, 6F and 6L J/B connectors.
    2. Disconnect the L24 ECU connector.
    3. Measure the resistance and voltage of the wire harness side connectors.

      Standard: 

      TERMINAL DESCRIPTION

      MPX-IG (6F-13) - Body ground V-W - Body ground Ignition (power supply) Ignition switch ON 10 to 14 V
      MPX-B (6F-12) - Body ground L-B - Body ground Battery (power supply) Always 10 to 14 V
      P- GND (6A-2) - Body ground W-B - Body ground Ground Always Below 1 ohms
      SG (L24-5) - Body ground W-B - Body ground Ground Always Below 1 ohms
      HIC (6L-1) - Body ground W-R - Body ground +B power supply Always 10 to 14 V

      If the result is not as specified, there may be a malfunction on the wire harness side.

    4. Reconnect the 6A, 6F and 6L J/B connectors.
    5. Reconnect the L24 ECU connector.
    6. Measure the voltage of the connector.

      Standard:

      LCTY (L22-4) - Body ground G-R - Body ground Luggage door courtesy lamp switch input Luggage door CLOSED Below 1 V

      LCM+ (L22-8) - Body ground GR-L - Body ground Luggage door lock motor input Transmitter luggage lid switch OFF Below 1 V
      LCM+ (L22-8) - Body ground GR-L - Body ground Luggage door lock motor input Transmitter luggage lid switch ON 10 to 14 V
      TIL1 (L24-1) - Body ground GR - Body ground Taillamp LH Taillamp LH is flashing (theft deterrent system is in alarm sounding state) Pulse generation

      If the result is not as specified, the ECU may have a malfunction.

  4. CHECK MULTIPLEX NETWORK DOOR ECU FRONT LH (DRIVER DOOR ECU)

    1. Disconnect the D17 and D19 ECU connectors.
    2. Measure the voltage and resistance of the wire harness side connectors.

      Standard: 

      TERMINAL DESCRIPTION

      GND (D19-1) - Body ground W-B - Body ground Ground Always Below 1 ohms
      CPUB (D19-4) - Body ground L-O - Body ground +B power supply Always 10 to 14 V
      SIG (D19-5) - Body ground V-W - Body ground Ignition power supply Ignition switch ON 10 to 14 V
      BDR (D19-6) - Body ground B-R - Body ground +B power supply Always 10 to 14 V
      CTY (D17-27) - Body ground R-W - Body ground Driver side courtesy switch input Driver side door CLOSED 10 k ohms or higher
      CTY (D17-27) - Body ground R-W - Body ground Driver side courtesy switch input Driver side door OPEN Below 1 ohms

      If the result is not as specified, there may be a malfunction on the wire harness side.

  5. CHECK MULTIPLEX NETWORK BODY ECU FRONT RH (PASSENGER DOOR ECU)

    1. Disconnect the P9 and P11 ECU connectors.
    2. Measure the voltage and resistance of the wire harness side connectors.

      Standard: 

      TERMINAL DESCRIPTION

      Symbols (Terminal No.) Wiring Color Terminal Description Condition Specified Condition
      GND (P11-1) - Body ground W-B - Body ground Ground Always Below 1 ohms
      CPUB (P11-4) - Body ground L-O - Body ground +B power supply Always 10 to 14 V
      SIG (P11-5) - Body ground V-W - Body ground Ignition power supply Ignition switch ON 10 to 14 V
      BDR (P11-6) - Body ground G-Y - Body ground +B power supply Always 10 to 14 V
      CTY (P9-27) - Body ground R-W - Body ground Passenger side courtesy switch input Passenger side door CLOSED 10 k ohms or higher
      CTY (P9-27) - Body ground R-W - Body ground Passenger side courtesy switch input Passenger side door OPEN Below 1 ohms

      If the result is not as specified, there may be a malfunction on the wire harness side.

  6. CHECK TRANSPONDER KEY ECU ASSY

    1. Disconnect the T13 ECU connector.
    2. Measure the voltage and resistance of the wire harness side connector.

      Standard: 

      TERMINAL DESCRIPTION

      Symbols (Terminal No.) Wiring Color Terminal Description Condition Specified Condition
      AGND (T13-13) - Body ground V - Body ground Ground Always Below 1 ohms
      CPUB (T13-1) - GND (T13-14) L-O - W-B +B power supply Always 10 to 14 V
      IG2 (T13-2) - AGND (T13-13) G-B - V Ignition power supply Ignition switch ON 10 to 14 V
      KSW (T13-3) - AGND (T13-13) LG-B - V Unlock warning switch signal No key in ignition key cylinder 10 k ohms or higher
      KSW (T13-3) - AGND (T13-13) LG-B - V Unlock warning switch signal Key inserted Below 1 ohms

      If the result is not as specified, there may be a malfunction on the wire harness side.

    3. Reconnect the T13 ECU connector.
    4. Measure the voltage of the connector.

      Standard: 

      TERMINAL DESCRIPTION

      Symbols (Terminal No.) Wiring Color Terminal Description Condition Specified Condition
      VC12 (T13-9) - AGND (T13-13) Y- V Ignition power supply Ignition switch ON 4.6 to 5.4 V

      If the result is not as specified, the ECU may have a malfunction.

  7. CHECK MULTIPLEX NETWORK FRONT LAMP ECU (FRONT CONTROLLER)

    1. Measure the resistance and voltage of the ECU.

      Standard: 

      TERMINAL DESCRIPTION

      FHHI(1) (13) - Body ground Y - Body ground +B power supply Always 10 to 14 V
      FHHI(2) (4) - Body ground Y - Body ground +B power supply Always 10 to 14 V
      FMB3 (8) - Body ground L-B - Body ground FMB3 power supply Always 10 to 14 V
      GND (12) - Body ground W-B - Body ground Ground Always Below 1 ohms

      If the result is not as specified, the ECU may have a malfunction.
