On-Vehicle Inspection

  1. INSPECT REAR COMBINATION LAMP ASSY 
    1. Connect the (+) lead from the voltmeter to terminal 1 and the (-) lead from the voltmeter to terminal 4.
    2. Measure the voltage according to the value(s) in REAR COMBINATION LAMP ASSY (VOLTAGE)  .

      Standard: 

      REAR COMBINATION LAMP ASSY (VOLTAGE)

      Tester connection Condition Specified condition
      1 - 4 Brake pedal released Below 1 V
      1 - 4 Brake pedal depressed 10 to 14 V

    3. Disconnect the rear combination lamp assy connector.
    4. Connect the (+) lead from the ohmmeter to terminal 1 and the (-) lead from the ohmmeter to terminal 4.
    5. Measure the resistance according to the value(s) in REAR COMBINATION LAMP ASSY (RESISTANCE)  .

      Standard: 

      REAR COMBINATION LAMP ASSY (RESISTANCE)

      Tester connection Condition Specified condition
      1 - 4 Always 314 to 347 Ω

  2. INSPECT REAR LAMP ASSY 
    1. Connect the (+) lead from the voltmeter to terminal 1 and the (-) lead from the voltmeter to terminal 4.
    2. Measure the voltage according to the value(s) in REAR LAMP ASSY - VOLTAGE TABLE  .

      Standard: 

      REAR LAMP ASSY - VOLTAGE TABLE

      Tester connection Condition Specified condition
      1 - 4 Brake pedal released Below 1 V
      1 - 4 Brake pedal depressed 10 to 14 V

    3. Disconnect the rear combination lamp assy connector.
    4. Connect the (+) lead from the ohmmeter to terminal 1 and the (-) lead from the ohmmeter to terminal 4.
    5. Measure the resistance according to the value(s) in REAR COMBINATION LAMP ASSY - RESISTANCE TABLE  .

      Standard: 

      REAR COMBINATION LAMP ASSY - RESISTANCE TABLE

      Tester connection Condition Specified condition
      1 -4 Always 314 to 347 Ω
