Inspect Procedure

  1. CHECK WIRE HARNESS (WIRELESS DOOR LOCK BUZZER CONTROLLER - THEFT WARNING ECU ASSY) 
    1. Disconnect the K4 controller connector.
    2. Disconnect the T5 ECU connector.
    3. Measure the resistance of the wire harness side connectors.

    Standard: 

    TESTER CONNECTION SPECIFIED CONDITION

    Tester Connection Specified Condition
    K4-1 - T5-11 (BZR3) Below 1 Ω
    K4-2 - T5-23 (BZRG) Below 1 Ω

    NG: REPAIR OR REPLACE HARNESS AND CONNECTOR

    OK: GO TO NEXT STEP 

  2. CHECK WIRELESS DOOR LOCK BUZZER CONTROLLER 
    1. Reconnect the K4 controller connector.
    2. Measure the resistance of the controller.

    Standard: 

    TESTER CONNECTION SPECIFIED CONDITION

    Tester Connection Switch Condition Specified Condition
    1 - 2 OFF (knob turned fully counterclockwise) 10 kΩ or higher
    1 - 2 OFF --> ON (knob turned clockwise) 10 kΩ or higher --> below 1 Ω

    NG: REPLACE WIRELESS DOOR LOCK BUZZER CONTROLLER

    OK: PROCEED TO NEXT CIRCUIT INSPECTION SHOWN ON  PROBLEM SYMPTOMS TABLE
