Inspection Procedure

Check WIPER and AM1 fuse.
CHECK:

Check continuity of AM1 fuse.

OK:
1. Continuity
1. NG: Check for short in all the harness and components connected to WIPER and AM1 fuse.
2. NG: Go to Next Step.

Check voltage between terminal WIG of Wiper Control ECU connector and body ground (See PROCEDURE ).

PREPARATION:

Remove wiper control ECU with connectors being connected.

CHECK:

Measure voltage between terminal IG of wiper control ECU connector and body ground when ignition switch is ON and OFF.

OK:

Voltage:

IGNITION SWITCH VOLTAGE

Ignition switch	Voltage
ON	10-14V
OFF	0 V

OK: Proceed to next circuit inspection shown on problem symptoms table (See PROBLEM SYMPTOMS TABLE ).
NG: Check and repair harness or connector between Wiper Control ECU and battery.
