How To Proceed With Troubleshooting

  1. Vehicle Brought to Workshop 
  2. Customer Problem Analysis (See  CUSTOMER PROBLEM ANALYSIS CHECK   ) 
  3. Check multiplex communication system (See  MULTIPLEX COMMUNICATION SYSTEM  ) 
    1. Check the DTC output.
    1. DTC outputs (Proceed to  MULTIPLEX COMMUNICATION SYSTEM - DIAGNOSTICS 
    2. DTC does not output (Go to step   4 ) 
  4. Problem Symptom Confirmation (See  PROBLEM SYMPTOMS TABLE   ) 
  5. Circuit Inspection (See  MALFUNCTION IN SPEEDOMETER   -  SEAT BELT WARNING LAMP FOR DRIVER'S SEAT DOES NOT OPERATE   ) 
  6. Repair or Replace 
  7. Confirmation Test 
  8. End
