Inspection Procedure

  1. INSPECT SEAT MEMORY SWITCH 
    1. Disconnect the seat memory switch connector.
    2. Measure the resistance according to the value (s) in the table below.

    Standard: 

    CHECKING RESISTANCE

    Tester Connection Condition Specified Condition
    1 (E) -4 (1) SW1 switch pushed Below 1 Ω
    1 (E) -3 (2) SW2 switch pushed Below 1 Ω
    1 (E) -2 (MMRY) SET switch pushed Below 1 Ω

    NG: REPLACE SEAT MEMORY SWITCH

  2. CHECK HARNESS AND CONNECTOR (FRONT POWER SEAT SWITCH - SEAT MEMORY SWITCH) 
    1. Disconnect the front power seat switch connector.
    2. Measure the resistance according to the value (s) in the table below.

    Standard: 

    Driver Side: 

    CHECKING RESISTANCE

    Tester Connection Condition Specified Condition
    D18-1 (E) - Body ground Always Below 1 Ω
    D18-2 (MMRY) - M6-5 (MMRY) Always Below 1 Ω
    D18-3 (2) - M6-6 (SW2) Always Below 1 Ω
    D18-4 (1) - M6-2 (SW1) Always Below 1 Ω

    Front Passenger Side: 

    CHECKING RESISTANCE

    Tester Connection Condition Specified Condition
    S24-1 (E) - Body ground Always Below 1 Ω
    S24-2 (MMRY) - M8-5 (MMRY) Always Below 1 Ω
    S24-3 (2) - M8-6 (SW2) Always Below 1 Ω
    S24-4 (1) - M8-2 (SW1) Always Below 1 Ω

    NG: REPAIR OR REPLACE HARNESS OR CONNECTOR

    OK: PROCEED TO NEXT CIRCUIT INSPECTION SHOWN IN  PROBLEM SYMPTOMS TABLE
