ABS Warning Light Remains ON: Description

The skid control ECU is connected to the combination meter via CAN and multiplex communications. If any of the following is detected, the ABS warning light remains on.
- The connectors of the skid control ECU and the combination meter are disconnected.
- There is a communication malfunction between the skid control ECU and combination meter.
- When a DTC is stored, there is a malfunction in the skid control ECU internal circuit.
- The ABS, EBD or BA system is defective.
HINT:
In some cases, the intelligent tester cannot be used when the skid control ECU is abnormal.
