Steering Pad Switch: Removal

  1. DISCONNECT CABLE FROM NEGATIVE BATTERY TERMINAL 
    NOTE: Wait for 90 seconds after disconnecting the cable to prevent the airbag working. (See PRECAUTION )
  2. REMOVE LOWER NO.2 STEERING WHEEL COVER  (See REMOVAL )
  3. REMOVE LOWER NO.3 STEERING WHEEL COVER  (See REMOVAL )
  4. REMOVE STEERING PAD  (See REMOVAL )
  5. REMOVE STEERING PAD SWITCH ASSEMBLY 
    1. Disconnect each connector.
    2. Remove the screw.
    3. Disengage the 2 claws and the pin.

    4. Remove the steering pad switch LH.
    5. Remove the screw.
    6. Disengage the 2 claws and the pin.

    7. Remove the steering pad switch RH.
