VSV For Pressure Switching Valve: Inspection
- REMOVE CHARCOAL CANISTER ASSEMBLY
- REMOVE VSV FROM CHARCOAL CANISTER
- INSPECT VSV
- Inspect the VSV for open circuit.
Using an ohmmeter, check that there is continuity between the terminals.

If there is no continuity, replace the VSV.
- Inspect the VSV for ground.
Check that there is no continuity between each terminals and the body.
If there is continuity, replace the VSV.
- Inspect the VSV operation.
- Check that the air does not from port E to F.
- Apply battery positive voltage across the terminals.
- Check that the air flows from port E to F.
If operation is not specified, replace the VSV.
- Inspect the VSV for open circuit.
- REINSTALL VSV TO CHARCOAL CANISTER
- REINSTALL CHARCOAL CANISTER ASSEMBLY
