Inspection Procedure

HINT:

In case of using the hand-held tester, start the inspection from step 1 and incase of not using the hand-held tester, start from step 2.

Check mirror switch using hand-held tester.
PREPARATION:

Connect the hand-held tester to the DLC 3.

CHECK:

Check the mirror switch using DATA LIST.
1. OK: Proceed to next circuit inspection shown on problem symptoms table. (See PROBLEM SYMPTOMS TABLE and PROBLEM SYMPTOMS TABLE ).
2. NG: Go to next step.
Check mirror switch (See INSPECTION )
1. NG: Replace the mirror switch.
2. OK: Go to next step.
Check wire harness and connector between mirror switch and body ECU No. 2.
1. NG: Repair or replace wire harness or connector.
2. OK: Proceed to next circuit inspection shown on problem symptoms table. (See PROBLEM SYMPTOMS TABLE and PROBLEM SYMPTOMS TABLE ).
