On-Vehicle Inspection

- INSPECT TURN SIGNAL FLASHER CIRCUIT
- Measure voltage between the terminals as shown in TURN SIGNAL FLASHER

Standard:
TURN SIGNAL FLASHERTester connection Condition Specified condition 1 - body ground Turn ignition switch ON 10 to 14 V 1 - body ground Turn ignition switch OFF No voltage 4 - body ground Always 10 to 14 V 7 - body ground Always Continuity - Connect the connector to turn the signal flasher and turn the ignition switch ON, and inspect the wire harness side connector from the back side as shown in Fig 2 .
- Measure voltage between the terminals as shown in TURN SIGNAL FLASHER

- INSPECT HEADLAMP ASSEMBLY (HEADLIGHT BEAM LEVEL CONTROL ACTUATOR OPERATION)
- Disconnect the connector from the headlamp assy.
- Connect the positive (+) lead from the battery to the terminal 3 of each of the headlight beam level control actuator and negative (-) lead from the battery to the terminal 1 of each of the headlight beam level control actuator.
- Connect the positive (+) lead from the battery to the terminal 1 of the headlamp levering switch and negative (-) lead from the battery to the terminal 2 of the headlamp levering switch.
- Connect the terminal 4 of the headlamp leveling switch and the terminal 2 of the headlight beam level control actuator LH, and connect the terminal 5 of the headlamp leveling switch and the terminal 2 of the headlight beam level control actuator RH.
- Measure voltage between each of the headlight beam level control actuator and battery negative (-) terminal when headlamp levering switch is operated.
