Rear Axle Hub Bolt: Replacement

HINT:
- COMPONENTS (See COMPONENTS
- Use the same procedures for the RH side and LH side.
- The procedures listed below are for the LH side.
- A bolt without a torque specification is shown in the standard bolt table (See SPECIFIED TORQUE FOR STANDARD BOLTS ).
- REMOVE REAR WHEEL
- Remove the 10 bolts and ornament.
- Remove the 5 nuts and wheel.
- DISCONNECT DISC BRAKE CYLINDER ASSY REAR LH
- Remove the 2 bolts and disconnect the brake cylinder from the axle carrier.
- Support the brake caliper securely.
- REMOVE REAR DISC
- REMOVE REAR AXLE LH HUB BOLT
- Temporarily install the 2 nuts to the hub bolts as shown in Fig 2 .
- Using SST and a screwdriver or equivalent to hold the axle shaft, remove the hub bolt.
SST 09628-10011
- INSTALL REAR AXLE LH HUB BOLT
- Install a washer and nut to a new hub bolt, as shown in Fig 3 .
- Using a screwdriver or an equivalent to hold the axle shaft, install the hub bolt by torquing the nut.
- INSTALL REAR DISC
- CONNECT DISC BRAKE CYLINDER ASSY REAR LH
- Connect the brake cylinder to the axle carrier with the 2 bolts.
Torque: 104 N.m (1,065 kgf.cm, 77 ft.lbf)
- Connect the brake cylinder to the axle carrier with the 2 bolts.
- INSTALL REAR WHEEL
- Install the wheel with the 5 bolts.
Torque: 103 N.m (1,050 kgf.cm, 76 ft.lbf)
- Install the ornament with the 10 bolts.
Torque: 20 N.m (204 kgf.cm, 15 ft.lbf)
- Install the wheel with the 5 bolts.
