Crankshaft Position Sensor (1GR-FE): Replacement

- REMOVE GENERATOR ASSY (SEE REPLACEMENT )
- REMOVE ENGINE UNDER COVER ASSY REAR
- Remove the 4 bolts and the engine under cover assy rear.
- SEPARATE COOLER COMPRESSOR ASSY
- Remove the bolt and separate the suction hose subassy.
- Disconnect the cooler compressor assy connector.
- Remove the 4 bolts and separate cooler compressor assy from the V-ribbed belt tensioner assy.
- REMOVE CRANKSHAFT POSITION SENSOR
- Disconnect the crankshaft position sensor connector.
- Remove the bolt and the crankshaft position sensor.
- INSTALL CRANKSHAFT POSITION SENSOR
- Apply a light coat of engine oil to an O-ring of the crankshaft position sensor.
- Install the crankshaft position sensor with the bolt.
Torque: 10 N.m (102 kgf.cm, 7 ft.lbf)
- Connect the crankshaft position sensor connector.
- INSTALL COOLER COMPRESSOR ASSY
- Install the cooler compressor assy with the 4 bolts.
Torque: 25 N.m (255 kgf.cm, 18 ft.lbf)
- Connect the cooler compressor assy connector.
- Install the suction hose sub-assy with the bolt.
Torque: 8.0 N.m (82 kgf.cm, 71 in.lbf)
- Install the cooler compressor assy with the 4 bolts.
- INSTALL ENGINE UNDER COVER ASSY REAR
- Install the engine under cover assy rear with the 4 bolts.
Torque: 29 N.m (296 kgf.cm, 21 ft.lbf)
- Install the engine under cover assy rear with the 4 bolts.
- INSTALL GENERATOR ASSY (SEE REPLACEMENT )
