Inspection Procedure

- CHECK SETTING (THE VOLUME OF THE NAVIGATION SOUND)
- Check the settings
- Set the volume MAX at the voice sound settings on the menu.
STANDARD: Vocalize "This system will guide you in the volume"
HINT:
- In the following cases, no voice sound guidance is made even if the system is normal.
- When the destination is not set.
- When not running on the route (the remaining distance at the left bottom on the present point is not displayed)
- When "other modes guidance" is not set (noise sound guidance is made only on the map screen)
OK: NORMAL (RECHECK THE OPERATION)
NG: Go To Next Step
- INSPECT NAVIGATION ECU (AUO+/-, GND)
- Check signal waveform.
- Using an oscilloscope, check signal waveform between terminals AUO+, AUO- and GND of navigation ECU.
NG: CHECK AND REPLACE NAVIGATION ECU
OK: REPAIR OR REPLACE HARNESS OR CONNECTOR
- INSPECT FRONT NO.1 SPEAKER ASSY
- Check continuity.
- Check that the continuity exists between terminals of front No.1 speaker.
Standard: 2 - 8Ω
NG: REPLACE FRONT NO.1 SPEAKER ASSY
OK: REPAIR OR REPLACE HARNESS OR CONNECTOR
