Using Hand-Held Tester

  1. Prepare the LEXUS hand-held tester.
  2. Connect the LEXUS hand-held tester to DLC3. See Fig 1.
  3. Turn the ignition switch ON and the LEXUS hand-held tester main switch ON.
  4. Use the LEXUS hand-held tester to check the DTCs, note them down. For operating instructions, see the LEXUS hand-held tester's instruction book.
  5. Confirm the details of the DLC3. See DIAGNOSTIC TROUBLE CODE INDEX  table.
