Engine Hood Lock Assembly: Removal

  1. Remove the hood lock control cable lever by removing the cap with a taped tip screwdriver, and then removing the nut. See Fig 1.
  2. Remove the hood lock by removing the cap with a taped tip screwdriver, and then remove the 2 bolts, and nut. See Fig 2. Disconnect the hood lock control cable.
