Inspection Procedure

  1. Check the hazard switch. See HAZARD SWITCH  under COMPONENT TESTS. If the results are OK, go to the next step. If the results are not good, replace the hazard switch located on the center cluster finish panel. See appropriate INSTRUMENT PANEL article.
  2. Check the wiring harness and connector between the hazard switch and driver side junction block (body No. 2) ECU. See WIRING DIAGRAMS . If the results are OK, proceed to the next circuit inspection of the problem symptom. See PROBLEM SYMPTOM INDEX (BODY NO. 2 CONTROL SYSTEM)  table. If the results are not good, repair or replace the wiring harness or connector.
