Stabilizer Bar: Installation

  1. Install bushings to stabilizer bar so that cutout of bushing faces front of vehicle. Install bushings to outside of paint line on stabilizer bar. See Fig 1.
  2. Install stabilizer bar to body with bolts. Tighten to specification. See TORQUE SPECIFICATIONS .
  3. Install right and left stabilizer bar links. Nut "A" fastens to stabilizer bar. Nut "B" fastens to No. 1 lower control arm. See Fig 2. Tighten to specification. See TORQUE SPECIFICATIONS .
  4. Install engine under cover.
