Inspection Procedure

  1. Check the power window switch circuit using DTC check. (Refer to  DTC B1221/21, DTC B1222/22, DTC B1223/23, DTC B1224/24, DTC B1225/25, DTC B1226/26, DTC B1241/41 OR DTC B1252/52  ) 
    1. OK: Proceed to next circuit inspection shown on problem symptoms table. (See  POWER WINDOW CONTROL SYSTEM   and  OTHERS   under PROBLEM SYMPTOMS TABLE). 
    2. OK: Go to next step. 
  2. Check the power window switch. (See  INSPECTION  in Power Window Control System article) 
    1. NG: Replace the power window switch. 
    2. OK: Go to next step. 
  3. Check wire harness and connector between power window switch and rear left door ECU. 
    1. NG: Repair or replace wire harness or connector. 
    2. OK: Go to next step. 
  4. Check wire harness and connector between power window switch and power window master switch. 
    1. NG: Repair or replace wire harness or connector. 
    2. OK: Proceed to next circuit inspection shown on problem symptoms table. (See  POWER WINDOW CONTROL SYSTEM   and  OTHERS   under PROBLEM SYMPTOMS TABLE).
