Inspection Procedure

CHECK HARNESS AND CONNECTOR (COURTESY LAMP SWITCH - INSTRUMENT PANEL JUNCTION BLOCK ASSY)
1. Disconnect the B7 and B8 connectors from the instrument panel junction block assy.
2. Measure the resistance according to the value(s) in Fig 1 .

1. NG: Go to step 2
2. OK: PROCEED TO NEXT CIRCUIT INSPECTION SHOWN IN PROBLEM SYMPTOMS TABLE (SEE PROBLEM SYMPTOMS TABLE )
INSPECT COURTESY LAMP SWITCH
1. Remove the courtesy lamp switch.
2. Measure the resistance according to the value(s) in Fig 3 .

1. NG: REPLACE COURTESY LAMP SWITCH
2. OK: REPAIR OR REPLACE HARNESS OR CONNECTOR (EACH OF COURTESY SWITCH CIRCUIT)
