How To Proceed With Troubleshooting

  1. Vehicle Brought to Workshop 
    1. GO TO NEXT STEP 
  2. Customer Problem Analysis (See  CUSTOMER PROBLEM ANALYSIS CHECK  ) 
    1. GO TO NEXT STEP 
  3. Check multiplex communication system (See  HOW TO PROCEED WITH TROUBLESHOOTING  ) 
    1. Check that the DTC output.
    1. DTC outputs (Proceed to "BODY MULTIPLEX COMMUNICATION SYSTEM") 
    2. DTC does not output (Go to step 4) 
  4. Problem Symptom Confirmation (See  PROBLEM SYMPTOMS TABLE  ) 
    1. GO TO NEXT STEP 
  5. Circuit Inspection (See  MALFUNCTION IN SPEED METER   -  COMPASS DOES NOT FUNCTION  ) 
    1. GO TO NEXT STEP 
  6. Repair or Replace 
    1. GO TO NEXT STEP 
  7. Confirmation Test
