Overdrive Main Switch

Disconnect electrical connector from O/D main switch, located on gearshift lever. Using ohmmeter, ensure continuity exists between switch terminals No. 5 and 10 with switch released (OFF position). See Fig 1. Ensure no continuity exists with switch depressed (ON position). Replace switch if defective.
