Using Scan Tool

NOTE: Refer to hand-held tester operator's manual for further details.
  1. Turn the ignition switch off.
  2. connect LEXUS hand-held tester to the (DLC3). See Figure.
  3. Set each test item to condition 1. See Fig 1.
  4. Turn ignition switch to ON. Select SIGNAL CHECK mode on hand-held tester.
  5. Change each test item to condition 2. See Fig 1.
  6. Read DTCs by following prompts on tester screen. If any DTCs are stored, perform appropriate test. See DIAGNOSTIC TROUBLE CODE DEFINITIONS .
