Vehicle Height: Notes
NOTE:
Adjustment of vehicle height should be performed with height control switch in NORM position. Perform adjustments on a level place. Ensure tires are properly inflated. Block the wheels to keep the vehicle from rolling.
- Bounce vehicle up and down several times to stabilize the suspension.
- Move vehicle forward and backward by pushing it to settle the wheels.
- Place the shift lever in the "N" range and release the parking brake.
- Start the engine. Set height control switch in HIGH position. Wait one minute and set the switch to NORM position. Wait 50 seconds and then repeat this operation. Be sure to perform twice so that each suspension part settles down.
- When the radius of a wheel is 12.4 inches (315 mm) or 12.52 inches (318 mm) vehicle height should be according to specification. See VEHICLE HEIGHT . The difference between left and right should be less than .39 inches (10 mm). The difference between front and rear should be .49-1.67 inches (26-29 mm).
