Using Scan Tool

  1. Connect LEXUS hand-held tester to (DLC3). See Fig 1.
  2. Turn ignition switch on. Read DTCs by following prompts on the tester screen. Refer to operator's manual for further details.
  3. If any DTCs are retrieved, perform appropriate test. See DIAGNOSTIC TROUBLE CODE DEFINITIONS . If no DTCs exist, repair by symptom. See SYMPTOM INDEX  table under SYSTEM TESTS.
