Speed Sensor (U151E): Replacement

  1. REMOVE BATTERY 
  2. REMOVE AIR CLEANER ASSEMBLY 
  3. REMOVE AIR CLEANER HOSE NO. 1 
  4. REMOVE AIR CLEANER BRACKET 
  5. REMOVE AIR CLEANER INLET NO. 1 
  6. REMOVE SPEED SENSOR (NT SENSOR) 
    1. Disconnect the speed sensor connector.
    2. Remove the bolt and speed sensor.

  7. REMOVE SPEED SENSOR (NC SENSOR) 
    1. Disconnect the speed sensor connector.
    2. Remove the bolt and speed sensor.

  8. INSTALL SPEED SENSOR (NC SENSOR) 
    1. Coat O-ring with ATF.
    2. Install the speed sensor with the bolt.

      Torque: 11 N.m (115 kgf.cm, 8 ft.lbf) 

      HINT:

      Make sure the name of manufacturer.

    3. Connect the speed sensor connector.

  9. INSTALL SPEED SENSOR (NT SENSOR) 
    1. Coat O-ring with ATF.
    2. Install the speed sensor with the bolt.

      Torque: 11 N.m (115 kgf.cm, 8 ft.lbf) 

      HINT:

      Make sure the name of manufacturer.

    3. Connect the speed sensor connector.

  10. INSTALL AIR CLEANER INLET NO. 1 
  11. INSTALL AIR CLEANER BRACKET 
  12. INSTALL AIR CLEANER HOSE NO. 1 
  13. INSTALL AIR CLEANER ASSEMBLY 
  14. INSTALL BATTERY
