Inspection Procedure

  1. CHECK THE CD 
    1. Check for dirt on the CD surface.

      Standard: The CD is clean. 

      HINT:

      If dirt is on the CD surface, wipe it with a soft cloth from inside to outside in a radial direction.

      NOTE: Do not use conventional record cleaner or anti-static preservative.

    1. NG: CLEAN THE CD 
    2. OK: Go to next step. 
  2. CHECK THE CD 
    1. Check that the CD is not deformed or cracked.

      Standard: No deformations or cracks appear on the CD.

    1. NG: REPLACE THE CD 
    2. OK: Go to next step. 
  3. CHECK USING ANOTHER CD 
    1. Check using another CD.
      1. Check if the problem recurs using another CD.

        Standard: The problem does not recur. 

    1. OK: REPLACE THE CD 
    2. NG: Go to next step. 
  4. CHECK RADIO AND NAVIGATION ASSY 
    1. Check the radio and navigation assy installation condition.
      1. Check that the radio and navigation assy is properly installed (SEE REPLACEMENT ).

        Standard: Radio and navigation assy is properly installed. 

    1. NG: REINSTALL THE RADIO AND NAVIGATION ASSY PROPERLY 
    2. OK: PROCEED TO NEXT CIRCUIT INSPECTION SHOWN IN PROBLEM SYMPTOMS TABLE (see  PROBLEM SYMPTOMS TABLE  )
