Trouble Shooting: Pre-Check

  1. Release the parking brake pedal.

  3. Depressing the brake pedal repeatedly may turn on the BRAKE warning light and buzzer.
  4. When the parking brake is applied or the level of the brake fluid is low, the BRAKE warning light is illuminated.
  5. If the ABS/TRAC control module (or skid control ECU) stores DTC, ABS warning light, VSC warning light and TRAC OFF indicator light are illuminated.
  6. If the indicator check result is not normal, repair by symptom. See SYSTEM TESTS .
