Inspection Procedure

  1. Check the limit switch circuit wiring harness. Disconnect the regulator switch assembly (R16) and power window regulator motor (P10) connectors. See CONNECTOR IDENTIFICATION . Check the continuity of each terminal of the vehicle's side connector of the switch assembly. See INSPECTING LH REAR POWER WINDOW REGULATOR MOTOR LIMIT SWITCH CONTINUITY  table. If the continuity is OK, go to the next step. If the continuity is not good, repair or replace the wiring harness or connector.
  2. Check the pulse sensor circuit wiring harness. Check the continuity of each terminal of the vehicle's side connector of the switch assembly. See INSPECTING LH REAR POWER WINDOW REGULATOR MOTOR PULSE SENSOR CONTINUITY  table. If the continuity is OK, go to the next step. If the continuity is not good, repair or replace the wiring harness or connector.
  3. Replace the right hand rear power window regulator motor assembly. See POWER WINDOW REGULATOR MOTOR (REAR DOOR)  under REMOVAL & INSTALLATION. Check the power window operation. If the operation is not good, replace the right hand rear power window regulator switch assembly. See step  1) of POWER WINDOW REGULATOR MOTOR (REAR DOOR)  under REMOVAL & INSTALLATION.
