Shift Lever Position Test

Start the engine, and turn the center differential lock switch to the OFF position. Check that the center differential indicator light comes on when the transfer shift lever is shifted to the LOW position. Check that the light goes off when the lever is shifted to the Neutral or High position. See Fig 1.
