Resistance Check
Disconnect light rheostat control 8-pin connector. Connect ohmmeter between rheostat control terminals No. 1 and 2. With knob turned slowly clockwise, resistance should change from 0-10 k/ohms. See Fig 1. Connect ohmmeter between connector terminals No. 1 and 3. Resistance should be 10 k/ohms. If resistances are not to specification, replace rheostat control.
