OTHERS - PROBLEM SYMPTOMS

Symptom Suspect Area
Navigation system is abnormal.
  1. Navigation ECU communication circuit
  2. Navigation ECU
  3. Multi display ECU
  4. Passenger side J/B ECU
Shift point too high or too low.
  1. Pattern select switch circuit
  2. Shift lock ECU
Rear sunshade is abnormal.
  1. Rear sunshade ECU circuit
  2. Passenger side J/B ECU
Brake pad indicator does not light up.
  1. Combination meter system
  2. Brake pad sensor circuit
  3. ABS
  4. Skid control ECU
  5. Problem symptom table on theft deterrent system
Rear seat control system does not operate.
  1. Rear seat return switch circuit
  2. Rear RH or LH seat ECU
  3. Passenger side J/B ECU

HINT:

When the Passenger Side J/B ECU-related devices are to be checked, select the "BODY NO. 3" from the MENU of the LEXUS hand-held tester.
