Removal & Installation (Front)
- Disconnect negative battery cable. Cover screwdriver tip with tape and pry off inside door handle bezel. Carefully pry up armrest base panel assembly. Remove 3 window regulator master switch assembly screws. Remove window regulator master switch. Remove 2 screws and separate upper and lower armrest base panels. See Fig 1.
- Remove courtesy light. Remove 7 door trim panel screws. Carefully pry door trim panel away from door to release retainer clips. Disconnect 2 cables from inside handle. Remove inside door handle, seat memory switch, duct and vent seal, door trim pocket assembly, door frame garnish, outside rear view mirror, door speaker and door ECU.
- Remove service hole cover. Pry off door belt moulding. Drill out 5 door glass run rivets. Remove door glass run. Insert a rag inside door panel to avoid scratching glass. Raise glass until 2 bolts appear in service hole. Remove bolts and pull glass upward to remove.
- Disconnect window motor harness connector. Remove 6 bolts securing window motor and regulator assembly. Remove assembly through service hole. Place mating marks on window regulator motor bracket and regulator gear. Using Torx wrench, remove 3 screws and motor. To install, reverse removal procedure.
