Inspection Procedure
- Check mark display. (At place with fine view, is GPS mark displayed or not?)
- NO: Go to step 7 .
- YES: Go to next step.
- Does trouble occur in specific area or not?
- YES: Normal. (If vehicle is positioned in place where it is difficult to be identified, current vehicle position may be incorrectly displayed.)
- NO: Go to next step.
- Setting check (Color of the automatic calibration button on the calibration screen).
- OK: Normal.
- NG: Go to next step.
- Service check mode. (Is "58-43" output in unit check mode of navigation ECU?) See PRE-CHECK .
- YES: Troubleshoot for each diagnosis.
- NO: Go to next step.
- Navigation check mode. (Vehicle signal check mode: SPD) See PRE-CHECK .
- NG: Replace or repair speed sensor wire harness.
- OK: Go to next step.
- Recurrence test (Confirm phenomenon) (Correct current position and drive vehicle for a while with GPS mark displayed.)
- OK: Normal.
- NG: Replace navigation ECU.
- Check connection of navigation antenna. (Bite or sharp bend)
- NG: Connect navigation antenna properly.
- OK: Go to next step.
- Check optional components. (Does GPS mark appear if options such as theft deterrent system is removed?)
- YES: Remove them or change position of components.
HINT:
Some options receive radio signals. This may affect GPS reception.
- NO: Go to next step.
- YES: Remove them or change position of components.
- Is there anything such as a film stuck to window or any metal object on instrument panel?
- YES: Reception may be affected by a screen such as a film.
- NO: Go to next step.
- Service check mode. (Is "58-40, 41" is output in unit check mode of navigation ECU?) See PRE-CHECK .
- YES: Troubleshoot for each diagnosis.
- NO: Replace navigation antenna.
HINT:
If the trouble still occurs, replace the navigation ECU.
