Test No. 17: Defogger Relay Circuit

  1. Check rear defogger relay. See appropriate wiring diagram in REAR WINDOW & SIDE MIRROR DEFOGGERS article. Replace rear defogger relay as necessary. Retest system operation. If rear defogger relay is okay, go to next step.
  2. Check circuits for faults between rear defogger relay and body control ECU. See WIRING DIAGRAMS . Repair or replace as necessary.
