Valve Body Assembly: Removal
- Drain fluid. Remove oil pan, filler tube, gasket, oil strainer and magnets from oil pan. Disconnect connectors from each solenoid and A/T fluid temperature sensor. Remove solenoid wiring and stopper plate.
- Remove valve body bolts. Note location and bolt length. See Figure. Lower valve body slightly and remove accumulator piston springs. Note location of springs. Remove valve body. Use care not to lose check ball body and spring located above valve body. See Figure.
NOTE:
During valve body removal, note location of accumulator piston springs, bolt length and location, check ball body and spring (if equipped). Component locations should be marked for reassembly reference.
