Thrust Bearing

Install thrust bearing on No. 3 main bearing with grooves facing outward, toward crankshaft. Thrust bearing must be replaced if crankshaft end play is not within specification. See CRANKSHAFT, MAIN & CONNECTING ROD BEARINGS  table under ENGINE SPECIFICATIONS.
