Circuit Description

Diagnostic Trouble Code (DTC) is set when TRAC system is turned on, ABS/TRAC ECU detects normal Engine Control Module (ECM) communication, ECM is providing engine self-diagnostic information, and engine speed is 500 RPM of more for .48 seconds or more.

DTC is also on when ABS/TRAC ECU detects normal ECM communication, ECM is providing engine self-diagnostic information, engine speed is 500 RPM of more for one second or more, and ECM records DTC. If fault occurs in engine control system, ABS/TRAC ECU performs a fail safe function prohibiting TRAC control. Possible cause is engine control system.
