Using Scan Tool

  1. Connect LEXUS hand-held tester to (DLC3). See Figure.
  2. Turn ignition switch on. Read DTCs by following prompts on tester screen. Refer to operator's manual for further details.
  3. Perform appropriate test. See DIAGNOSTIC TROUBLE CODE DEFINITIONS . If no DTCs exist, repair by symptom. See SYMPTOM INDEX  table under SYSTEM TESTS.
