Hydraulic Brake Booster

  1. Ensure ignition is off. Pump brake pedal at least 40 times. Turn ignition on. If pump stops operating after about 40 seconds, go to next step. If pump does not stop operating after about 40 seconds, repeat this step.
  2. With ignition on, pump brake pedal at least 20 times. Using standard bleeding method, bleed right and left front caliper. Bleed right and left rear caliper. Connect scan tool to DLC3, located under steering column.
  3. Using scan tool, select AIR BLEEDING. Select FR LINE and bleed right front caliper. Select FL LINE and bleed left front caliper. Disconnect scan tool and clear DTC (if applicable). See CLEARING DIAGNOSTIC TROUBLE CODES .
