BRAKELIGHT Switch

Remove cover from below left side of instrument panel. Disconnect brakelight switch connector. Loosen brakelight switch lock nuts.

See Figure. Turn brakelight switch until threaded part of switch touches the brake pedal stop. Turn brakelight switch backward one turn. Tighten lock nuts. Clearance between threaded part of brakelight switch and pedal stop should be .02-.09" (.5-2.4 mm). Ensure brakelights operate properly.
