OD Direct Clutch Speed Sensor Signal

Sensor delivers input signal to ECM, indicating OD input shaft RPM. By comparing OD direct clutch drum signal and vehicle speed sensor signal, ECM detects shift timing of gears and controls engine torque and hydraulic pressure in response to various conditions. Sensor is located on left side of transmission, near torque converter housing.
