Engine Oil Pressure Switch
NOTE:
Ensure continuity is present between switch body and engine block (ground). Ensure oil pressure is greater than 3.5 psi (.2 kg/cm2
) with engine running.
Turn engine off. Disconnect oil pressure switch connector. Check for continuity between terminal on oil pressure switch and ground. If continuity is not present, replace switch. If continuity is present, start engine. Check for continuity again. If continuity is not present, switch is okay. If continuity is present, replace switch.
