Washer Linked Operation Test

Disconnect 18-pin combination (wiper/washer) switch connector. Connect battery positive lead to terminal No. 16 (Blue/Yellow wire) and negative battery lead to terminal No. 2 (White/Black wire). Connect voltmeter positive lead to terminal No. 7 (Blue/Black wire) and voltmeter negative lead to terminal No. 2 (White/Black wire). Push in washer switch. See Figure. Battery voltage should be present in less than one second after switch is pushed in (switch on), and remain present for about 3 seconds after switch is released (switch off). If voltage is not as specified, replace combination (wiper/washer) switch.
