Parking Brake Switch

  1. Check for continuity between switch body and switch mounting. If there is no continuity, clean mounting area between switch and mounting (poor ground). If there is continuity, go to next step.
  2. Disconnect connector from switch. Check for continuity between ground and switch connector terminal. With switch pin pushed in, there should be no continuity. With switch pin released, there should be continuity. Replace switch if continuity is not as specified.
