Brake Pad Wear Indicator

  1. Disconnect brake pad wear indicator connector. Turn ignition on. Indicator light should illuminate. If indicator illuminates, go to next step. If indicator does not illuminate, diagnose and repair multifunction display.
  2. Check continuity between brake pad wear indicator terminals. If continuity exists, brake pad wear indicator is okay. If continuity does not exist, replace brake pad wear indicator.
  3. Turn ignition on. If light illuminates, circuit and bulb are okay. If light does not illuminate, see CIRCUIT PLATE  under CIRCUIT TESTS (PIN VOLTAGE TESTS).
